CG / Photobooks · EROQUIS!
The 'GAMEOVERS: RE / EROQUIS!' CG collection is a wild ride through a pixelated, retro-gaming-inspired erotic fantasy. Each image feels like a love letter to classic 8-bit and 16-bit aesthetics, but with a deliciously adult twist. The artist’s attention to detail in recreating the look and feel of old-school games is impressive, from the blocky character designs to the vibrant, almost nostalgic color palettes. What really stands out, though, is how the collection manages to be both playful and provocative. The scenarios range from cheeky to outright explicit, but there’s a sense of humor and creativity that keeps it from feeling too heavy. For non-Japanese speakers, the lack of translation might be a barrier for understanding the text, but the visual storytelling is strong enough to carry the experience. The poses, expressions, and compositions are dynamic and engaging, making it easy to follow the action even without words. If you’re a fan of retro gaming and adult content, this is a unique blend that hits the spot.
