The 'Neglected Town: Side Stories! - 7 New Works Collection' by Maron☆Maron is a treasure trove for fans of adult-themed CG art. Each piece feels like a snapshot from a larger, unspoken narrative, with characters that exude both vulnerability and raw desire. The variety in settings—from dimly lit alleys to cluttered bedrooms—adds depth to the collection, making it more than just a series of explicit scenes. The artist’s attention to detail, especially in facial expressions and body language, conveys emotions that words alone couldn’t capture. While the text is in Japanese, the visual storytelling is so strong that non-Japanese speakers can still immerse themselves in the atmosphere. The collection’s pacing is excellent, with each piece building on the last, creating a cohesive yet diverse experience. It’s a must-see for those who appreciate art that balances explicitness with emotional nuance.
