CG / Photobooks · ochamaru
Ochamaru’s *Hyakki Ayame* is a visual feast that blends traditional Japanese aesthetics with a modern, almost ethereal twist. The CG collection feels like flipping through a dream—each image is meticulously crafted, with vibrant colors and intricate details that draw you into a world where folklore meets fantasy. The character designs are striking, especially the titular Ayame, whose expressions range from serene to hauntingly intense. While the text is in Japanese, the visual storytelling is so strong that language barriers feel irrelevant. The poses and compositions are dynamic yet balanced, making each piece feel like a standalone masterpiece. It’s clear that the artist has a deep appreciation for both the eerie and the beautiful, and that duality shines through in every frame. Whether you’re here for the art or the atmosphere, this collection delivers.
